Enqui Huang pleads guilty to Prostitution
Yuehua Huang pleads guilty to Massage Without a License
FREDERICK- Yuehua Huang, age 59, of Middletown, Maryland pled guilty today to Massage Without a License, while her daughter, Enqui Huang, age 34, of Frederick, Maryland, pled guilty to Prostitution – knowingly maintaining a building for prostitution.
In March of 2016, the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office received several prostitution complaints regarding the Autumn Breeze Foot Spa, located at 5 Willowdale Drive and the Serenity Foot Spa located at 174 Thomas Johnson Drive. As a result, an investigation was conducted by the Frederick County Sheriff’s Office Task Force and the State’s Attorney’s Office from March through September of 2016. Numerous surveillance operations resulted in 3 location search warrants and 8 bank account search warrants being executed. Those warranted yielded evidence against both individuals as well as $104,967.34 being collectively seized from the bank and other locations. Enqui Huang is the owner of the spas and her mother, Yuehua Huang is the registered agent.
Enqui Huang was ordered not operate any massage business in Frederick County and was given 2 years of probation. She also received a PBJ from Judge Bartgis. The Office of the Attorney General is also involved regarding possible tax issues. It is expected that she will lose her Massage Therapy License.
Yeuhua Huang’s sentencing has been deferred for 90 days.
