The Child Advocacy Center of Frederick County MD shared their mission today with our Intern Clerkship Students. The child and family-focused center provides a safe place for children and their families to access community resources. Partnering with public safety agencies, the CAC’s goal is to reduce trauma to children and their families. The CAC works closely with our Special Victim’s Unit, Domestic Violence Unit, and Juvenile Division. Thank you CAC!

Our team presented on child exploitation, human trafficking and the INTERCEPT Task Force, to state and federal crime analysts and investigators.

Today our interns toured the Frederick County Sheriff's Office, MD - Integrity Driven • Community Built Adult Detention Center to learn more about Maryland's Public Safety and Correctional Services. The students pictured represent our Child Support Division, Domestic Violence Unit, INTERCEPT Task Force, Economic Crimes Unit, Special Victims Unit, Violent Crimes Unit and Juvenile Division. Their hard work and support is greatly appreciated by our prosecution team!
